The lanes for testing performances, 1870m long and 9m wide, are used for max speed, starting acceleration, overtaking acceleration and fuel consumption at constant speed test, etc. A 200m long and 7m wide high μ-form road is used for braking test. On one side of the lanes are special sections of jerky road 800m in length and 1.5m in width, Belgium road 100m in length & 1.5m in width, cobbled road, large and small oblique Sine-shaped roads, etc. On the remote end of lanes is a steep slope testing area with 4°and 10°slopes for testing the assembly quality, steering and damping systems, climbing capacity as well as operability, comfortability and passability of tested motorcycles.

Anechoic Chamber
Contracted to build with German Frankonia CO., this laboratory consists of a 3 Meter Semi-anechoic Chamber, a control chamber, a function amplifying chamber and movable TEM chamber.
This anechoic chamber was designed according to relevant technical specifications on the basis of the experience of building domestic & overseas chambers of the same kind in the light of the motorcycle & its parts features. A 3 Meter revolving table, the cooling, smoke exhausting, photographs taking-monitoring systems & fixtures were disposed. The clear space of anechoic chamber is 8.4m×6.6m×6.0m. Automatic control is used for EMI test process, an ESVS 10 receiver produced by German R&S CO. is used for continuously scanning within a frequency range of 30MHz~100MHz with a resolution of 0.01dB to meet the requirements of test functions for motor vehicles & related products of all kinds. The quiet area of anechoic chamber is a cylinder 2m in diameter & 2m in height above the revolving table, providing good conditions for EMS test. The disposal & performances of anechoic chamber has come up to internationally advanced level, providing ideal test surroundings for EMC (EMI & EMS) test of mechanical & electrical products of many kinds, mainly motorcycles & their parts.
As a result of test by the Chinese Mechology Academy, all the anechoic chamber main targets as screened effect, normalized attenuation & ground evenness are better than the requirements of relevant standards (EN 50147-1, EN 50147-2, EN 55022, GB 12190-90, GB 9254-98, ANS 163.4 and EN 61000-4-3).
